𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 (𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟱-𝟴 𝘆𝗼), and 𝗨𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗔 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱’𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱 (𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀)

Together with Picture Think Academy, we are organising a Visual Decoder for Stories Event storytelling event at Times Waterway Point on 11 Nov 23, from 3 - 4PM. While the children are enjoying the storytelling session, we will also conduct a talk for all parents who might be keen to learn more about visual thinking using pictures, and how they can use visual thinking to unlock the power of a child’s visual mind. Pictures can activate the whole mind to engage in a myriad of behaviours, such as learning, problem-solving, sharing ideas and much more.

In conjunction with this event, we are also organising a contest so that children can put into practice what they have learnt about the Visual Decoder for Stories. The objective of this contest is to encourage children to use pictures to aid retelling, exploring and consolidating what they know about a story.
