Do I need to register for an account to purchase from your online store?
You need to create an account to purchase from our online store.

How do I register for an account in your online store
-Click on the Account icon found at the top right-hand corner of our online store.
-Input the required information and click on Create Account

 I’ve forgotten my password. How do I reset my password?
-Click on the Account icon found on the top right-hand corner of our online page.
-Click on Login followed by Forgot your password?
-Input the required information and click on Submit. You will receive a password reset email to reset your password.

Can I update my profile?
You are unable to update your profile after you have created your account.

I am a Times Rewards member, do I still need to register for an account to purchase from your online store?
You need to create an account to purchase from our online store.

Do I enjoy Times Rewards member discount for purchase on Times Bookstores Online?
Times Rewards member discount is not applicable for purchase on Times Bookstores Online.

Why am I unable to use my discount code?
There are few possible reasons why the discount code cannot be used.


1. The code has expired
Please check the expiry date of the code. Some of the codes run for a limited period. Expired discount code cannot be used and there is strictly no extension.

2. Product Exclusions from discount code
Most discounts do not apply to the following categories or unless stated.

Clearance Sale
Favourite Reads
Pre-Order
Trending Reads

3. Did you meet the spending minimum requirement?
Some discount codes may require minimum spending and or on selected product categories.

4. Has the discount code been used before?
Each discount code is meant for one time use unless otherwise stated. Discount code cannot be stacked and applied together. Only one voucher can be used per transaction.

5.Have you check the Terms & Conditions of the discount code?
Please check the terms & conditions for the respective discount/promotion sent via our newsletters or if you have see the code from our partners' website to ensure if you meet the promotion criterias.

Just by signing up on Times Bookstores Online, you will receive a welcome voucher to enjoy 20% off. The discount code is valid in a single transaction with $35 minimum spend, cap at $50. Valid for new sign-up members on your first order, one time use per customer. Discount code cannot be stacked and used together. How do I know if the product in the online catalogue is available?
With the exception of some magazine subscription or pre-order items which requires confirmation, most of the items in our online store are available for purchase. In the event that any products are unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, our customer service staff will contact you. If an order contains 1 item that is out of stock, we will still process and deliver the remaining items. Our customer service staff will process a refund for the 1 item that is out of stock.

How do I add items into the shopping cart?
To add items into shopping cart, please click Add to Cart. The default quantity is 1. You can also click on the product thumbnail to view the detailed product page to input the quantity before click on Add to Cart.

Can I amend items in my shopping cart?
Yes, you can amend the items in your shopping cart by clicking the cart icon at top right hand corner of our website. You can remove the item or change quantity.

How do I place my order
-Once you are ready to place your order, click "Checkout" in your cart. You will be brought to the checkout page.
-If you have not login to your account, you will be prompted to key in your registered email address and password.
-At the checkout page, you need to fill in your billing and shipping address.
-Review your order summary and click "Continue to Shipping" to proceed to payment (Note: Please ensure your order is accurate before placing an order as no changes are accepted once payment is made).
-Verify your email address and shipping address before click on "Continue to payment"
-Input your credit details and click on "Paynow"

What are your payment modes?
We accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, credit cards (Amex/Master/Visa) for payment. For more information on payment modes, please click here.

How do I make payment
After clicking "Continue to payment" in the checkout page, you will be directed to a secure payment gateway page for you to key in your credit card details. Once the payment has been approved, you will receive an order confirmation email. Payment made using Shop Pay will receive SMS notification on the mobile number used for the Shop Pay purchase. Order confirmation email will not be sent for purchase made using Shop Pay.

How do I use a promotional code?
Enter the discount code at checkout and click ‘Apply’. Discount codes are valid for one-time use only.

Can I change items or cancel my order?
You cannot change items or cancel your order once it has been confirmed and paid.

I live outside Singapore. Can I place an order on Times Bookstores Online?
Yes, you can place an order from locations outside of Singapore. E-products can be purchased overseas.

 How can I check or track my order?
-Login to your account by clicking on the Account icon.
-Click on the order under the Order history.
-Click on "Track Shipment" and you will be brought to the tracking information page. Tracking information will only be available for local orders with physical products purchase.

What are your local delivery options?
For e-book purchase, you will receive an email notification of your order with a downloadable link for you to download your e-book after 1 working day(excluding weekend and public holiday.).

For physical products, we use a third party contractor for delivery. A delivery charge of $3.99 is applicable for any orders below $35 (inclusive of GST, discounts and promotions) for local deliveries within Singapore.

Free delivery is applicable for any orders $35 and above (inclusive of GST, discounts & promotions).

I have a few types of products in my order. Are they delivered together in one shipment?
Except for e-product, subscription and magazine, all other products will be delivered in one shipment unless otherwise stated. E-products such as downloadable books and learning apps will be fulfilled after 1 working day(excluding weekend and public holiday) upon successful payment. You will receive email instructions on how to download/view the e-products that you have purchased.

What is your lead time for physical products?
Items are subjected to availability. Most of the products will be processed and delivered within 5-8 working days(excluding weekend and public holiday) Customisable products such as customised notebooks, calendar or greeting cards may take long to fulfil within one shipment. Magazine or subscription products are fulfilled directly by our magazine suppliers.

Will I be notified when my order is ready for delivery?
We will send you a delivery notification email when the shipment has been scheduled. Our courier partner will send an SMS to the mobile number indicated in the order on the day of the delivery.

Do you deliver to all addresses in Singapore?
We deliver to most Singapore addresses except remote areas or destinations with restricted locations due to security constraints. Please refer here for restricted postal codes that our third party contractor do not deliver to. 

What are your delivery options?
For e-books purchase , you will receive an email notification of your order with a download link for you to download your e-book within the next working day.

For physical products, we use DHL for delivery.

Do you deliver to international addresses? 
We deliver to most international addresses.

What is your leadtime for physical products delivery? 
Delivery times differ from country to country. We strive to ensure that your order reaches you within 2 weeks. We partner with an international freight forwarder.

What are the delivery rates? 
International delivery rates are different depending on the country zones, dimensions and weight of the parcel. You will be able to see the delivery fee before checkout. Please note that you are responsible for all other local taxes and custom duties applicable in your country. Please refer to more information here

Can I return or exchange my order?
We do not accept product return or exchange unless they are due to wrong/damaged item delivered. Please note that you need to notify us within 3 working days from the receipt of your order if your item(s) are found to be wrong/damaged.

What about e-products such as educational apps, e-books and events? Can I exchange or get a refund for my order if I change my mind?
We do not accept exchange or refund request upon successful payment of your order for all products including e-products and events. Please ensure that your order is accurate before placing the order.

What happens if I receive an incomplete order?
If you receive an incomplete order, please contact us and we will make arrangements for a re-delivery.

After I have purchased my E-Book, what happens next?
Upon successful payment, you will receive 2 emails. An order summary from Times and an email with a redemption code from MC Edu Hub will be sent to you within 1 working day (excluding weekend and public holiday). The order summary email contains information about your order. You may redeem your purchased E-Book by following the instruction in the email from MC Edu Hub.
