Adam Tyson is an Associate Professor of Southeast Asian Politics in the School of Politics and International Studies, University of Leeds. ; Helena Varkkey is a political scientist based in Kuala Lumpur. Her area of specialization is political geography and environmental politics in Southeast Asia, especially the global politics of palm oil and haze in the region. ; Shofwan Al Banna Choiruzzad is a Lecturer in the Department of International Relations, University of Indonesia.
